Maintenance Mechanic for Industrial Production

About the Position We are now seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for one of our clients in Kristianstad. Would you like to play a key role in keeping production running and ensuring that machines and robots function optimally? We're looking for a maintenance mechanic where you'll work closely with production alongside an engaged team. The role offers a varied day-to-day with a focus on both preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement work. You'll be an important part of ensuring high operational reliability and efficient production flows. In your work, you will among other things: - Daily mechanical maintenance of production machines and equipment - Preventive maintenance to minimize operational disruptions and downtime - Troubleshooting and repairs during acute production stops - Changeovers and adjustments during production changes - Participate in improvement work on processes and equipment - Reporting and handling of work orders in maintenance systems - Close collaboration with operators, technicians, and production teams The work is scheduled on 2-shift rotation. Start date by agreement. Your Profile We're looking for someone with experience working as a mechanic in industry or production, or alternatively someone who has worked in a similar technical role. You have a good understanding of how machines and production equipment function. You are experienced with practical work such as screwing, adjusting, setting up, and troubleshooting machines, and have a strong technical interest. Experience with maintenance work in manufacturing operations is an advantage. It is a merit to have experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and automation.
