About the job To our maintenance department we are now looking for a maintenance engineer who will function as an expert in the field of supervision and inspection, and to provide users with data, information and training so that conditions are created for safe operation. In your future role as Maintenance Inspector you will Be responsible for ensuring that the site's control and inspection activities within the operational area are conducted cost-effectively in a way that meets the requirements set by the authorities. The operational area consists of static equipment, pressure-bearing equipment, tanks and pipes, lifting equipment, pressure testing, boilers and other within the scope of machinery. You will work closely with, among others, maintenance engineers, technicians and operators. Be responsible for developing and following up control and inspection plans for the area of responsibility. Be responsible for optimizing and developing inspection work, for example by seeking permits for extended inspection intervals or the use of new testing methods. Have the authority to establish control requirements in project activities. Be responsible for maintenance plans within the inspection & control area. Monitor changes in legislation and regulations in cooperation with the HSE department. Inform relevant persons on site about changes. Participate in the review of designs and design documents and in monitoring of manufacturing / assembly. Actively participate in and drive improvement work within the inspection area and drive and participate in root cause analyses and investigations (RCPS) We believe that you have Post-secondary education in, for example, mechanical engineering, operations or equivalent relevant field Good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing It's good if you have Previous work experience in inspection (KIWA, inspection etc.) Deep knowledge of AFS 2023:11 and AFS 2023:5 and other governing regulations within the operational area.
