To strengthen our work with maintenance and facility development, we are now seeking a Maintenance Engineer for distribution networks. Would you like to be part of our journey? Your Responsibilities As a Maintenance Engineer for distribution networks, you play an important role in ensuring electrical safety, operational reliability, and availability of our power grid facilities. You work both strategically and operatively to plan, monitor, analyze, and develop maintenance measures for our distribution network. You are responsible for coordinating and following up on maintenance activities and ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, and internal guidelines. The role also includes contributing to the development of maintenance strategies, initiating improvement initiatives, and providing technical support in investment and reinvestment projects. You have many points of contact both internally and externally, collaborating closely with colleagues throughout the VB Elnät organization. Externally, you work with contractors, suppliers, authorities, and customers. Job Requirements We are looking for someone with: • Post-secondary education in electrical engineering, maintenance technology, or equivalent work experience deemed equivalent. • Experience from the electricity industry, preferably with a focus on maintenance work. • Good understanding of electrical safety, occupational health and safety, and relevant regulations. • Good system skills and experience with the Office suite. Experience with NIS systems is a merit. • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
