Your Responsibilities
Development of maintenance and work methods
develop preventive, data-driven, and GMP-compliant maintenance
establish and improve procedures, instructions, and technical documentation
contribute to the development of maintenance strategies, processes, and work methods
take an active role in the organization's continuous improvement initiatives
Technical analysis and improvement work
analyze data and identify improvement opportunities
contribute to increased operational reliability through technical problem-solving and improvement measures
work on improvements in CNC, surface treatment, packaging, cleanrooms, and other production-related processes
participate in technical investigations and support the organization in complex quality and production-related matters
Projects and cross-functional collaboration
participate in and drive projects within NPI, quality, production development, and machinery investments
be an important representative for maintenance in major change initiatives
ensure that the maintenance perspective is considered in projects, changes, and future technical solutions
represent maintenance in collaborations with quality, process development, and international specialist teams
Good to Know
Several major initiatives are underway related to production equipment, process development, GMP-compliant work methods, and future maintenance. Initially, a large portion of your focus will be on project work related to quality improvements, cleanliness, and change initiatives where you represent the maintenance perspective in close collaboration with quality and international specialist teams.
You'll become part of a maintenance team of 14 colleagues and work closely with production. In total, approximately 400 employees work in Karlskoga.
Interviews for this position will be conducted from mid-August.
Our Expectations
We are looking for someone with several years of experience as a maintenance engineer, production technical specialist, or equivalent role in qualified industrial production. You have a strong technical educational background, for example in mechanical engineering, production technology, automation, maintenance technology, or similar. If you have built equivalent technical competence through qualified experience in industrial operations, that is also relevant.
To succeed in this role, you need to have a good understanding of production equipment, technical documentation, operational reliability, and structured improvement work. You are experienced in working cross-functionally and thrive in the space between technology, production, quality, and projects.
It is a merit if you have experience with GMP-regulated operations, for example in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, food, process industry, or other regulated production. Experience with investment projects, root cause analysis, preventive maintenance, or development of maintenance strategies is also valuable.
As a person, you are analytical, structured, and solution-oriented. You are confident in driving issues forward, creating order in complex situations, and bringing others along in change initiatives. You communicate fluently in Swedish and English in technical contexts.
