Do you want to be part of developing the future of maintenance in energy production? At Öresundskraft, you'll have an important role in preventive and predictive maintenance work at our production facilities – in an operation with rapid technical development and major investments in sustainable energy production and CCS.
About the Operations
Within our Production business area, we are responsible for the operation, maintenance, optimization, and development of all energy production within Öresundskraft in Helsingborg and Ängelholm. The Maintenance Department supports our three facilities – Filbornaverket and Västhamnsverket in Helsingborg, and Åkerslundsverket in Ängelholm.
Each facility has local maintenance teams with a Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Coordinator in electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation. For overall maintenance work, we have gathered specialist expertise in a central maintenance unit where this position is located. Here we have competence in areas such as inventory and storage, systems and automation, project management, and development of our maintenance processes and working methods.
Our operations are constantly evolving, and we actively work with digitalization, data-driven maintenance, and development toward a more predictive approach. Öresundskraft is facing a major project in CCS (Carbon Capture and Storage), linked to sustainable energy production of the future. This means you'll be working in an operation with rapid technical development and great opportunities to influence the future of maintenance work.
About the Position
We offer you a developing role where you, together with our existing Maintenance Engineer, work comprehensively with our three production facilities. The role is an expansion and focuses on developing and improving our preventive and predictive maintenance as well as ensuring efficient and data-driven working methods within maintenance operations. The position has many internal contact points within operations, maintenance, and storage, as well as ongoing contact with external specialists, system suppliers, consultants, and contractors.
The work includes:
· Development and monitoring of preventive maintenance, KPIs, and maintenance strategies
· Digitalization and standardization of maintenance processes and development of working methods
· Analysis work related to criticality, failure history, RCA (Root Cause Analysis), and improvement initiatives
· Development of predictive maintenance through measurement methods, analysis tools, and with AI support
· Creation of long-term maintenance plans and support for inspection work
· Development of spare parts management and material control based on availability and operational reliability
· Administration and monitoring; invoice handling and documentation and traceability
· Being one of our superusers for our maintenance system, Idus
The position is based at Filbornaverket in Helsingborg and reports directly to our Maintenance Manager.
About You
We believe you have technical education at least at upper secondary school level, preferably complemented with post-secondary education in maintenance, operations, energy, automation, or process engineering. Experience and personal qualities carry significant weight, and we have good opportunities to support and help the right person into the role.
You have likely worked several years in a similar role in process industry, energy production, or other technically complex operations. It is advantageous if you have experience with maintenance systems such as Idus or other CMMS/EAM systems, preventive and predictive maintenance, KPI and analysis work, root cause analysis, and improvement work. Experience and knowledge in vibration measurement, data-driven analysis work, and condition monitoring are also advantageous.
As a person, you are structured and analytical with a drive to develop and improve working methods and processes. You have an interest in systems, data, and digitalization and thrive in a role with many contact points where collaboration and communication are important. At the same time, you have the ability to translate analyses and technical information into practical improvements in operations. We require that you have good computer skills, a driver's license, and are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
As an employee at Öresundskraft, you may be subject to civil defense placement based on total defense needs. Since we conduct societally critical operations, background checks may be conducted before employment.
We believe in the strength of diversity and see different perspectives and experiences as an important part of our success. With us, you can be yourself and contribute your unique expertise.
