About Us In our Local Grid Distribution Malmö team, we are responsible for the local grid with a focus on reinvestments, projects, maintenance, and documentation. We work with dedication and cross-functionally with our customers to build a sustainable society and drive development toward the energy grid of the future. The team is now being expanded with an additional maintenance engineer and otherwise consists of project managers, designers, project administrator, and documentation technicians. Your Role As a Maintenance Engineer, you ensure that our maintenance measures are carried out in the most technically and economically efficient way. You collaborate with E.ON's Local Grid Group and participate in national networks to develop maintenance processes. With considerable freedom in the role, you are responsible for managing fault correction, maintenance, and inspection of grid substations and local grid lines, while driving proactive measures to prevent disruptions. You identify and analyze deficiencies, handle inspection remarks, and collaborate with contractors and teams to manage the electrical grid and implement new working methods. The work is varied and offers the opportunity to build long-term relationships with municipalities, contractors, and other stakeholders. Your Experience To succeed and thrive in this role, we believe you are a business-oriented person with experience in electrical grids, good local grid knowledge, and IT proficiency. The combination of your knowledge and a genuine interest in power distribution provides you with good development opportunities in the role. Your background could be as an electrician, electrical technician, or from the contracting side. Previous experience with proactive management of local grids is highly desirable, as is prior experience with automation in electrical grid distribution. We know that the energy transition can only move forward through collaboration and continuous improvement. We therefore hope that you have a solution-oriented approach and are receptive, analytical, and open to new ideas and solutions, while daring to challenge both established working methods and external parties. This requires that you are a good communicator who understands the value of strong relationships while being comfortable in different environments and contexts. What is it Like Working With Us? Our team is led by Hampus Enulf, who believes in leadership where people develop through responsibility, participation, and collaboration. We believe that the best results are created when engaged employees are given trust, mandate, and support to make decisions, challenge working methods, and contribute to business development.
