Learn more about us at www.nearyou.se Job Description We are now seeking service technicians for our client companies in the Alingsås, Vårgårda, and Herrljunga regions. Are you a technically minded person who enjoys problem-solving and wants to work in a varied role close to production? Then this could be the right opportunity for you. As a service technician, you are responsible for ensuring that machines and production equipment function efficiently and reliably. You work both preventatively and reactively on maintenance while helping to identify and resolve technical problems to minimize downtime. Your work tasks may include: Troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of machines and production equipment Preventative maintenance to ensure stable production Installation and commissioning of new equipment Identification and resolution of technical deviations Collaboration with production and other departments to optimize processes and equipment Documentation and follow-up of completed work You will be an important part of the operations and will have the opportunity to work in a role where technology, problem-solving, and development are in focus. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a genuine technical interest and experience in maintenance work within industry, production, or similar operations. You have a good understanding of mechanics, electrical systems, automation, or other technical equipment and enjoy solving problems in a changing environment. To succeed in this role, we see that you: Have experience with troubleshooting, maintenance, or repair of machines and equipment Have technical training or equivalent work experience Can read and understand technical drawings and manuals Master Swedish in speech and writing Have a driver's license and access to a car As a person, you are responsible, solution-oriented, and conscientious.
