Learn more about us at www.nearyou.se Job Description We are now seeking service technicians for our customer companies in the Alingsås, Vårgårda, and Herrljunga regions. Are you a technically minded person who enjoys problem-solving and wants to work in a varied role close to production? Then this could be the right opportunity for you. As a service technician, you are responsible for ensuring that machines and production equipment function efficiently and reliably. You work both preventively and remedially on maintenance, and you help identify and solve technical problems to minimize downtime. Your responsibilities may include: Troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of machines and production equipment Preventive maintenance to ensure stable production Installation and commissioning of new equipment Identification and resolution of technical deviations Collaboration with production and other departments to optimize processes and equipment Documentation and follow-up of completed work You will become an important part of the operation and have the opportunity to work in a role where technology, problem-solving, and development are in focus. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in technology and experience in maintenance work within industry, production, or similar operations. You have a good understanding of mechanics, electrical systems, automation, or other technical equipment and enjoy solving problems in a changing environment. To succeed in this role, we see that you: Have experience troubleshooting, maintaining, or repairing machines and equipment Have technical education or equivalent work experience Can read and understand technical drawings and manuals Are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written Hold a driver's license and have access to a car As a person, you are responsible, solution-oriented, and thorough.
