Responsibilities Björneborg Steel is looking for a person whose responsibilities will involve working with various types of non-destructive testing, primarily ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing, penetrant testing, and hardness measurement. Testing is conducted in several stages during a process where you search for defects such as cracks and porosity and verify material properties. It is flexible work where you draw from the company's different departments and seek defects to justify and develop them. The responsibilities will largely include: Planning and executing test schedules according to specifications in systems such as Movex and Comflow Performing all types of non-destructive testing Interpreting test standards and customer specifications in both Swedish and English Working with documentation, deviation, and calibration reports We are looking for you who: Have upper secondary education and industrial experience Additional meritable experience: Ultrasonic testing (Level 1 and 2 according to ISO 9712) (Highly meritable, but not required as the company provides training). Magnetic particle testing (Level 1 and 2 according to ISO 9712) (Highly meritable, but not required as the company provides training). Penetrant testing (Level 1 and 2 according to ISO 9712) (Highly meritable, but not required as the company provides training) Experience from heavy industry Forklift certification Experience working in an MPS system. We work in systems such as Movex, Qlikview, and the Office suite. Working hours: Daytime with flexibility, but shifts may occur.
