A SELECTION PROCESS
to fill a position of
Maintenance Worker/Tractor Operator in the Technical Services Department
Work engagement: 40 hours/week, i.e., 1.0 full-time equivalent, working hours mostly 6-14:30 Monday-Friday
Place of work: Plzeň
Employment type: Fixed-term contract for one year, with the possibility of conversion to an indefinite term contract
Expected start date: by agreement
Salary grade: 7
ranging from 21,890 - 31,240,- Kč + variable salary component, which may constitute 25-45% of annual income (personal allowance, bonuses). Salary is governed by Government Regulation No. 341/2017 Coll., and depends on achieved experience.
General scope of work:
Repair and maintenance of city furnishings
Repair, maintenance, and cleaning of city green spaces, forests, and bike paths
Repair and maintenance of buildings, structures, assets, and facilities owned by the city
Operation of tractors
Qualification and professional requirements:
Apprentice certificate (agricultural machinery repair technician - preferred)
Manual dexterity, independence
Driver's license at least category B, T (B+E preferred)
basic PC skills
training in chainsaw and brush cutter operation preferred
