Our research and development department, located in Hagfors, is the largest in the world within tool steel. Responsibilities The Automation group within the maintenance department is responsible for maintenance, development and optimization of our PLC and SCADA systems. The focus is on ensuring stable and trouble-free production by preventing faults, improving functions and identifying areas for development in our facilities. In this role you will work with troubleshooting on both older and modern automation equipment, preventive maintenance as well as minor rebuilds and adaptations of automation systems. You will also participate in projects, take part in installation and commissioning of new equipment and contribute to the continuous development of our processes and facilities. Your Profile We are looking for someone who enjoys working both independently and in a team. You are responsible, thorough and have a genuine interest in technology and problem solving. You have education within electrical engineering, automation or equivalent field. If you have experience in automation, robotics, instrumentation or maintenance, that is a great plus. Knowledge of Siemens Sinumerik is also highly valued. We would like to see that you have experience with PLC programming and have worked with one or more of the following systems: Siemens S7, Siemens PCS7, Melsec or ABB.
