Requirements: 1) University degree obtained through study in an accredited Master's program in pedagogical sciences focused on preparing teachers for secondary schools, or 2) specialized university degree corresponding to the nature of professional subjects taught in secondary schools, combined with education in a lifelong learning program provided by a university and focused on preparing secondary school teachers or teachers for the second level of primary school, or study of pedagogy according to § 22 of the Pedagogical Workers Act. Prerequisites for establishing an employment relationship, fulfillment of prerequisites for performing pedagogical worker activities §3 and professional qualifications according to §7 of Act No. 563/2004 Coll. on pedagogical workers and on amendments to certain laws, including the latest amendment by Act No. 197/2014 Coll., effective from January 1, 2015. 3) A final-year student of pedagogy in the given field may also be hired.
