Bilingual Hourly Caregiver Needed for 18-Year-Old in Central North Stockholm

About the Position Personal assistance is a service under LSS (The Act on Support and Services for People with Certain Disabilities). As a personal assistant, you will mainly help the client with everything that arises in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves respecting the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributes to making everyday life run smoothly. The client is an 18-year-old girl living in Norra innerstaden in Stockholm. She uses a wheelchair and needs your support with transfers, personal care, and other practical aspects of daily life. Since the client lacks verbal speech, it is essential that you as an assistant are attentive, present, and confident in reading her body language and signals. We are looking for someone who is ready to step in as an hourly substitute and be there when needed. Who Are You? The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are looking for someone who is responsive, engaged, and has great patience. You have good interpersonal skills and the ability to create calm and security in your presence. You have good physical fitness as the role involves supporting transfers, and you have previous experience from healthcare or care work. For you to thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you and the client. For this position, you must: Speak fluent Russian Have good knowledge of Swedish Have previous experience from healthcare or care work Have good physical fitness (as transfers will occur) For this position, it is advantageous if you: Have experience working with people who lack verbal communication and are experienced in reading body language/signals Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Working Hours, Employment Level, and Salary The current employment form is "hourly employment," which means work as needed. Shifts may occur on both weekdays and weekends, scheduled during daytime and evening hours. This is a perfect role for you if you want flexible extra work alongside studies or other employment. Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation in accordance with collective agreement. Start date according to agreement.
