The Social Services Department's mission is to meet people's needs for security. JOB DUTIES The work includes meetings with children, young people and families, where documentation is an important part. We investigate cases with the support of the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Care of Young People Act (LVU) and we work according to the Child's Needs in Focus (BBIC) method. You will also collaborate between other units within IFO-MyA, other authorities and organizations. The work also includes some preventive work. Travel is part of the work. In the Children and Family Services Group, scheduled time for reflection and environmental monitoring is currently included. As an employee in the Children and Family Services Group, you are offered an introduction program and mentoring, competence development (Kiruna Municipality participates in Yrkesresan), as well as external supervision. The temporary position is limited and valid until December 31, 2026. QUALIFICATIONS For the position of substitute social worker in the children and family services group, a degree in social work or higher education degree that meets the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations (SOSFS 2014:7) on eligibility to perform certain tasks in social services child and youth care is required. Experience of similar work is meritorious. You have knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. We see that you have a holistic approach and ability to ensure parts work together, as well as initiative and openness to development. Class B driving license and understanding of work in a municipal organization are meritorious. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
