Would you like to be part of our multidisciplinary team where we work to provide the best support and interventions for children and young people with autism? About Us: Habilitation Center Sollentuna Children is a specialist outpatient clinic that is part of the Habilitation & Health operations area within Region Stockholm. We offer services to children between 0-17 years old with lasting functional impairments such as autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, or mobility impairment. The operations are conducted according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL) and the Act on Support and Services for Certain People with Disabilities (LSS) and serve as a complement to other health and medical care. Work is carried out in our multidisciplinary teams which, in addition to 7 psychologists, consist of social workers, speech therapists, occupational therapists, special education teachers, and physiotherapists. Our catchment area covers the northwestern county with the municipalities of Järfälla, Solna, Sollentuna, Upplands-Väsby, Sigtuna, and Upplands-Bro. Our clinic is located in beautiful and modern premises in central Sollentuna, 15 minutes by commuter train from Stockholm Central Station. About the Position: We are now recruiting two psychologists to work in our competent and friendly autism team. Our target group is children and young people aged 5-17 with autism and their relatives. Work as a psychologist in the team involves stimulating and varied tasks including individual contact with children and young people, knowledge transfer about functional impairments to the child's network, and treatment interventions in groups or individually regarding, for example, diagnostic knowledge, stress management, social skills, and problematic behaviors. Work is conducted in close collaboration with other professionals in the team as needed. The position also involves significant cooperation with, for example, municipalities and other healthcare providers around the patients. About You: We are looking for someone who is a licensed psychologist. We would prefer that you have experience working with children with autism or other neuropsychiatric diagnoses. Basic therapy training in CBT or other knowledge of applied behavior therapy is a plus. You have a good ability to organize and structure your patient work and can balance the demands for efficiency with qualitative goals. You have good capacity for both independent work and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. We expect you to work based on scientifically proven methods and clinical experience. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Employment Type: Permanent employment, full-time with start date September 3, 2026, or by agreement. For patient-facing work within the Stockholm County Healthcare Region: - Criminal record checks are applied before an employment decision according to SLSO's overarching instructions for criminal record checks in hiring. - Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employee health examination according to applicable directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment. - In addition to Swedish professional credentials, good knowledge of the Swedish language at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required.
