Within the Finance Department, the functions work with planning, monitoring, coordination, accounting, business development and support.
About the position
As a program controller at Swedish National Grid, you are the primary financial support for the program manager and their underlying project organization. Today there are a total of nine programs in the facility portfolio.
You work broadly with all matters concerning financial flows for the program(s) you support and are involved in following the projects from initiation to completion/activation.
Through your work, you contribute to us having reliable forecasts for the facility portfolio as a whole and to us always presenting an accurate picture of our results and being able to draw lessons from it for the future.
The facility portfolio has grown significantly over the last five years and is undergoing development/growth, which means that working methods, routines and processes are under constant improvement and development. You will naturally be part of this work.
The work includes the following tasks:
Support to program managers and project managers regarding financial planning/forecasting, monitoring and accounting matters.
Quality assurance of financial decisions.
Developing analyses and reports according to program needs.
Educating the project organization in financial matters.
The challenge in the role is to help find the right levels of detail that are sufficiently good for us in an environment that is challenging and growing.
The Portfolio and Program Unit is part of the Finance Department. The unit includes all program controllers who provide financial support to all programs and projects running at Swedish National Grid.
The position is located in the Portfolio and Program Unit.
The unit, which functions as support for project activities at Swedish National Grid, is growing and currently consists of 18 employees and one unit manager.

Education:
Academic education in economics.
You also have:
At least three years of experience as a controller in a large and/or complex organization.
Experience working in larger business systems.
Good knowledge of the Office package, especially Excel.
Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English.
Meritorious
Experience of controller work in project activities, preferably in facility projects.
Experience working in Unit4 Business World (UBW).
Experience from public sector operations.
Experience with projects with EU financing.
Good to know
The position is located in Sundbyberg.
Opportunity for remote work up to 50%, if work permits. #LI-hybrid.
Business travel may occur.
