One assistant has completed her 3-year training, another has received an offer she can't refuse, and our MAL is planning to move to her home region far up north. We are therefore seeking two new female assistants, at 60 and 80 percent respectively, with one assistant able to transition to MAL once you've learned the main person's routines and needs. Start date as soon as possible for one of the positions. The main person is a 32-year-old woman who receives around-the-clock assistance to support her with epilepsy, memory, and cognition. She lives in her own apartment and commutes to her daily activities Monday through Thursday. The assistant accompanies her, and much of the work involves supporting both her artistic work and social engagement. Fridays are dedicated to personal activities, and weekends to maintaining the home, where the aroma of freshly baked bread has become a signature. You actively work to improve the main person's quality of life, stimulate social contacts, and of course provide protection during seizures. You also help maintain conversation and bring back memories through documentation in words and images. You work scheduled 24-hour shifts (maximum 8 nights per 4 weeks due to on-call duty), and occasional day shifts when dual assistance is needed for activities such as climbing and swimming. Otherwise, the work involves maintaining the home and the things independent adults do. You will receive thorough training by working alongside our experienced assistants. We are looking for someone who is: -responsible, curious, and committed to contributing to our main person's quality of life -has experience working as a personal assistant, and -is calm and stable You need to speak Swedish to avoid misunderstandings. The two decisive salary criteria are: increase the main person's quality of life and relieve family members. HDA is a member of Fremia and follows the Fremia-Kommunal agreement, with fixed overtime and on-call compensation, etc. NOTE! Women applicants only!
