Bauska Municipality Administration, registration no. 40900035851, invites applications for the position of Tourism Expert Marketing Specialist at the Tourism Information Center of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Marketing (fixed-term position, expected duration of employment – 1.5 years, with workplace in Vecumnieki). Requirements for job applicants: Education: Higher academic or higher professional education in public relations/communications, philology, or tourism; or incomplete higher education in public relations/communications, philology, or tourism (final year student, if studies can be combined with full-time work); or professional secondary education in tourism or culture with at least 2 years of work experience in tourism work organization or public relations. Good English language skills; knowledge of other foreign languages will be considered an advantage; Experience in tourism work organization or public relations will be considered an advantage; Experience in customer service; Experience in tourism marketing and social media content creation; Experience in information processing, analysis, and preparation; Familiarity with major tourism sites in Bauska Municipality, Zemgale, and Latvia. Main job responsibilities: Provide tourism information to clients about Bauska Municipality and the region; Collect and periodically update tourism information on www.visit.bauska.lv; Provide support in planning and creating VisitBauska social media content; Ensure the operation of Vecumnieki TIP, conduct visitor counts and customer surveys. Ensure tourism brochure availability at stands. Ensure quality representation and presentation of Bauska Municipality's tourism offerings at events. Work schedule: Summarized working hours, including work on Saturdays and Sundays according to work schedule. We offer: Workplace in Vecumnieki; Fixed-term employment up to 1.5 years; Monthly salary before tax from EUR 1331; Social guarantees; Health insurance (after 3 months of employment).
