About the position
In this role, you will have overall responsibility for leading, coordinating, and developing the company's security efforts. The role suits you if you want to combine strategic leadership with operational implementation and thrive with extensive collaboration, both internally and externally. You drive the work with the aim of strengthening security for tenants and creating good living environments. An important part of the assignment is to create structure, work with preventive measures, and ensure that the work contributes to long-term sustainable residential areas.
You will also lead and coordinate community social work, for example regarding issues related to disturbances, improper rental conditions, and eviction prevention measures. The role involves close collaboration with social services, police, the city, other authorities, property owners, and local stakeholders. You will also work with emergency preparedness issues and incident procedures.
You will be the manager of a team of five people and report to the Market Director.
About you
We are looking for someone with higher education in a relevant field and preferably previous experience from a similar role within the real estate industry or public housing. You have leadership experience and a good understanding of security issues and work in complex environments. Experience with strategic collaboration between different societal functions is important, as is the ability to translate plans and strategies into concrete and functioning work. It is a merit if you have experience with politically-governed organizations and knowledge of rental law.
To succeed in the role, you need to be relationship-building and collaboration-oriented. You are self-driven, structured, and action-oriented, with a good ability to see the whole picture and prioritize. As a person, you are also attentive, clear, and pragmatic. You have an easy way of building trust, handling complex issues, and communicating in a way that engages both tenants, colleagues, and external partners.
