We are now seeking a Safety and Emergency Preparedness Coordinator for the municipality's administrative unit! Åtvidaberg Municipality works toward the goal of a safe and robust municipality where our operations function even during unexpected challenges. The unit works with, among other things, safety and crime prevention initiatives, information security, data protection, security safeguards, civil preparedness, and other security matters. Your responsibilities In this role, you will participate in the municipality's crime prevention and safety work while collaborating with external partners. As a Safety and Emergency Preparedness Coordinator, you will work with, among other things, the following tasks: Coordinate and drive the municipality's crime prevention and security work, including information security work Coordinate and drive the municipality's civil preparedness efforts, such as continuity planning Continuously monitor external developments within your areas of responsibility Plan and implement training initiatives and exercise activities within your areas of responsibility About you We are looking for someone with post-secondary education; a university degree, preferably within information security, political science, crisis management, risk management, or civil protection, or another post-secondary education combined with experience the employer considers equivalent. You need experience in crime prevention work, security work, or civil preparedness. If you have experience in two or all three areas, we consider that an advantage. It is also advantageous if you have experience in this within a municipal context. Furthermore, experience in process or project management is a plus. As a person, you take initiative and, both independently and together with others, make quick and clear decisions. You take responsibility for your tasks, have a structured work approach, and drive your assignments forward through planning, organizing, and following up and concluding them. Furthermore, you have professional language skills, both spoken and written, with the ability to communicate information to different audiences. The position will be filled after approved security clearance.
