About the Position Personal assistance is a service under LSS (Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Disabilities). As a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that arises in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves respecting the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributes to a smooth everyday life. Each assistance arrangement is uniquely tailored to the client's life, so work tasks may vary depending on the workplace. Who Are You? The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it's important that there is good personal chemistry between you and the client. We are looking for you to work with a man in his 30s living in Tierp. You would ideally share the client's interests and enjoy an active lifestyle, such as brisk walks, cycling, swimming, floorball, and bowling – but also appreciate quieter activities such as doing puzzles. For this position, you must: have good knowledge of Swedish have experience communicating with the help of visual supports and visual schedules For this position, it is an advantage if you: have experience with similar work have experience working with people with autism share the client's interests Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Work Hours, Employment Level, and Salary The employment is a temporary position at approximately 60%, starting October 5, 2026, and expected to end November 10, 2027. Work hours are scheduled during day, evening, and night shifts according to a rotating 4-week schedule. Night shifts are usually 14:30–08:30 and include 6 hours on-call duty. Weekend shifts also occur, both Saturdays and Sundays, for example Saturday 13:00–08:30 and Sunday 18:30–08:30. Fixed hourly rate by agreement and other compensation in accordance with collective agreement. Start Date: We would like you to begin your introduction no later than October 5, 2026, preferably earlier.
