Reliable and Committed Personal Assistant Needed for Young Man in Sollentuna

We are looking for a thoughtful, stable, and committed personal assistant for a young man who lives with his family in Sollentuna. This position is ideal for someone who wants meaningful work where you play an important role in another person's daily life, communication, and social interactions. About the Work As a personal assistant, you will help with daily activities, personal hygiene, mobility, and tube feeding. You will also actively support communication and assist him in connecting and interacting with family, friends, schoolmates, and others in his environment. The assistant's role is very important so he can make himself understood, participate in conversations, and be included in social activities. The work therefore requires that you are present, attentive, and able to help without taking over. With safe and proactive support, he typically does well. However, more challenging situations can sometimes arise, and it is therefore important that you can remain calm, read his signals, and act safely, stably, and respectfully. You will receive introduction and support to learn his needs, communication, and routines. This is a part-time position with scheduled shifts mainly around 5–10 p.m., with the opportunity to fill in during daytime, night, and weekends as needed. Who Are We Looking For? You need to be attentive to subtle signals, be able to stay one step ahead, and feel secure even when a situation becomes challenging. You work well with family, school, colleagues, and others around him. Since you work closely with both him and his family, it is important that you maintain a professional and respectful approach. We have no particular age preference. Personal maturity and suitability are most important. For candidates with longer life and work experience, we would like to see relevant experience in, for example, personal assistance, care, disability support, or work with children and young people. You need to speak fluent Swedish, as communication is a central part of the work. Desirable Experience It is a plus if you have experience with personal assistance, alternative communication, tube feeding, neurological disabilities, or working with people who need comprehensive support in their daily lives. However, the most important thing is that you are the right person and have the willingness and patience to learn.
