Are you an experienced and responsible forklift operator looking to work in the Uppsala area? Lernia is now hiring forklift operators for an assignment with one of our customers in Uppsala. This position is perfect for you if you enjoy varied work tasks, are detail-oriented, and have strong safety awareness. This is a short-term assignment starting week 32 and will run for approximately 5 weeks, with the possibility of extension. About the Position As a forklift operator, you are responsible for safe and efficient handling of goods in a warehouse and production environment. You will be part of a team where planning, collaboration, and quality are important components for maintaining operational flow. Work tasks may vary depending on customer needs and may include picking, packing, and internal transport. Your main responsibilities include 50% forklift operation: Forklift operation and internal transport of goods Goods handling for receiving and delivery Picking and packing according to instructions Loading and unloading of vehicle units Ongoing reporting of discrepancies and damage Participation in inventory counts and order management Following safety procedures and contributing to a safe work environment The work also includes 50% of other tasks such as: Packaging, washing, re-palletizing with vacuum lifts, etc. About You Formal Qualifications Valid forklift certificate (A/B or equivalent depending on forklift type). Counterweight forklift and reach truck experience is preferred. Experience with forklift operation in a warehouse or industrial environment Good understanding of safety procedures and workplace requirements Good computer skills and experience using scanning or order management systems Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written Meritorious It is a merit if you have experience with: High-bay warehouse work or stacker operation Order picking systems, WMS, or ERP Shift-based operations Class B driver's license is a merit As a person, you are punctual, detail-oriented, and solution-focused. You enjoy practical work, have good collaboration skills, and can work both independently and as part of a team.
