Forklift Operator | Lernia | Västerås

Are you a careful and responsible person with experience operating a forklift? We are now seeking forklift operators for a logistics assignment with our client in Västerås. Here you will have the opportunity to work in a structured environment where safety, efficiency, and quality are in focus. About the Position In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently handling and transporting materials with a forklift between different warehouse and production areas. The work tasks also include receiving incoming goods, supplying materials to production, as well as picking and order handling. The role requires you to work in a structured and careful manner, have good ability to plan your work, and follow the company's safety regulations and quality procedures. The position is full-time with working hours during daytime. Work in 2-shift rotation may occur depending on operational needs. Work Tasks Operate forklift and move materials and goods within the warehouse area and to production. Receive, inspect, and place incoming goods in the correct storage location. Pick and prepare materials and products for delivery. Work with warehouse registration and documentation. Conduct inventory and verify stock levels as needed. Ensure that workplace, safety, and quality procedures are followed. Contribute to organization and cleanliness in warehouse and work areas. Collaborate with colleagues in warehouse, production, and transport. About You You are careful, flexible, and enjoy physical work where the pace can vary. You take responsibility for your tasks and work methodically even when there is a lot to do. You have good collaboration skills, are safety-conscious, and contribute to a positive work environment. Formal Qualifications Forklift certification with categories A and B. Class B driver's license. Experience operating forklifts in warehouse, logistics, or industrial settings. Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written. Basic computer skills and experience registering information in systems. Good physical fitness as the work may involve heavy lifting and movement. Desirable Qualifications Experience with truck loading/unloading and cargo securing. Experience with warehouse administration or work in business and warehouse management systems. Experience working in manufacturing or logistics. Forklift category D1 certification.
