As a forklift operator with our client in Halmstad, you will become an important part of a productive team where safety, quality, and efficiency are prioritized. You will handle goods, load and unload vehicles, and perform internal transports at the facility. This position is a staffing assignment through Lernia with good opportunities for extension or transition to the client's permanent employment. About the Position In this role, you are responsible for safely and correctly moving material between storage areas, production stations, and vehicles. You work closely with production and warehouse staff, report discrepancies, and ensure the workplace is well-organized. The work may involve lifting heavy loads, packaging, and simple documentation in internal systems. Perform forklift operations (picking, internal deliveries, loading/unloading) Ensure that goods are correctly packaged and labeled Follow workplace and safety procedures Report errors and discrepancies and participate in warehouse inventories as needed Maintain the forklift fleet and tools and perform basic inspections About You Formal Qualifications You have completed forklift training (e.g., counterbalance or reach truck) and documented experience with forklift operation. You are accustomed to working in digital systems for registration and reporting, and can read delivery notes and labels. Good Swedish in speech and writing is required to follow safety procedures and communicate with colleagues. Meritorious Qualifications It is advantageous to have experience in warehouse or production work, forklift certifications for multiple truck types, experience with logistics processes, and experience working in fast-paced teams. Driver's license category B is advantageous but not required. Personal Qualities You are thorough, organized, and have a strong work ethic.
