What You'll Work With at Södra As a forklift operator, you'll be an important part of production, ensuring a stable and efficient workflow in our operations. The role is varied and combines forklift driving and process monitoring with practical work. Your responsibilities may include: Filling and emptying lumber dryers Taking samples and monitoring and controlling the drying process Preventive maintenance of vehicles and production equipment Repair maintenance as needed Administrative tasks related to production Collaboration with colleagues in the drying department to ensure safe and efficient operations This is a temporary position for at least 12 months and involves shift work, based at Södra's sawmill in Värö. Who Are We Looking For? We're looking for someone who thrives in a practical and varied role where you can take responsibility and work close to production. You have an interest in technology, machinery, and industrial processes and enjoy working in a solution-oriented manner. For this position, you need to: Be at least 18 years old Hold a class B driver's license Hold forklift certifications A and B with practical experience Have experience from industrial or production operations Be comfortable with IT Have shift work experience As a person, you are responsible, engaged, and have a strong safety mindset. You enjoy collaborating with others while also being able to work independently and take initiative when needed.
