Your Assignment As a Strategist, you will have a central role in ensuring long-term development across the entire Heat and Electricity Production business area. You work closely with operations while having clear overall responsibility for driving and coordinating strategic issues, development initiatives, and change work. You serve as a connecting link between strategy and implementation and ensure that our long-term goals are translated into concrete activities, investments, and results in operations. The role also includes close collaboration with other business areas such as business management and finance, where you, together with the unit manager, contribute to a holistic understanding of budgets, long-term scenarios, and financial planning. Main Responsibilities Develop and take responsibility for the strategic direction of the business area Coordinate and prioritize development, transformation, and investment initiatives Ensure alignment between strategic goals, project implementation, and results realization Drive analytical work related to future energy systems, capacity, and technology development Contribute to long-term scenarios and decision-making materials together with the unit manager and business management Support the management group in strategic issues, decision processes, and business budgeting Monitor and analyze business results and development Create structure for governance, prioritization, and follow-up of a portfolio of projects and investments Contribute to business development with a focus on efficiency, sustainability, and robustness Ensure environmental monitoring within energy, regulation, and technology development together with business management We are just over 30 employees within the Heat and Electricity Production business area, which includes production, distribution, and operational support. The role is a key position in our management group, and you report directly to the Unit Manager for Heat and Electricity Production. The position is based at Stallbacka Värmeverk.
