We are growing and are now looking for three driven and committed unit managers for our LSS housing in Botkyrka. This is a unique opportunity to make an impact. As a unit manager, you will be a key person in our team, where both employees and residents are at the center. The Position and Your Responsibilities Botkyrka Municipality has 22 housing facilities with special services according to LSS. Our goal, like the law's, is to give each resident the opportunity to become independent in their daily life and feel secure in the support offered through assistance and services. As part of our team, you work to deliver high quality and create good conditions for Botkyrka's residents. We keep residents at the center in everything we do, from participation and communication to meeting individual needs. As a unit manager, you have overall responsibility for employees, work environment, operations, and budget. You lead daily operations and work closely with both residents and employees to ensure quality and participation. Your responsibilities include: driving development, following up, and ensuring quality of operations in accordance with the municipality's process-oriented approach. ensuring that operations comply with applicable laws, regulations, general guidelines, and directives, such as LSS, HSL, SoL, and AML. cooperating with various stakeholders, both internally and externally, such as guardians and family members. planning budget and resource allocation together with the operations manager. ensuring that routines and processes are followed in accordance with the municipality's guidelines. supporting and coordinating the employee team in daily work. Through your leadership, you contribute to operations where both residents and employees thrive and develop. What We're Looking For You are a social worker, behavioral scientist, or have equivalent education that the employer considers equivalent, with at least 180 higher education credits. You have at least two years of experience as a manager with responsibility for budget, operations, personnel, and work environment. Meritorious qualifications: Basic knowledge in labor law, work environment, and finance. Experience in the field of operations and target group, as well as knowledge of relevant legislation. As a unit manager, you have natural leadership and the ability to motivate employees, which creates commitment and responsibility in the team. You are coaching and inspiring and support employees' skills development, while being clear in your communication and able to present ideas persuasively. Your collaboration skills and understanding of the team's role make it easy for you to identify points of contact. You work closely with the management team and other functions, such as HR, finance, operations developer, administrators, and support pedagogues, which gives you a broad network and good insight into operations. You are solution-oriented, independent, and take initiative, actively contribute to operations improvement, and have a strong results focus, while understanding how both hard and soft factors, such as finance and work environment, affect operations success.
