Svenska Trappsteg is looking for an independent-minded employee in Stockholm. Swenska Trappsteg specializes in staircase renovation using solid oak and 3-layer material. We have been in business for approximately nineteen years. We operate in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Uppsala, and Skåne. This position is based in Stockholm and the surrounding area. We are a small company with pleasant colleagues. Our work tasks typically include: -renovating staircases, i.e., installing oak stair treads -installing landing steps -painting staircases -replacing handrails -reducing squeaks -enclosing staircases Other tasks may also occur such as flooring installation and other woodworking/carpentry work. Requirements: You should be comfortable using common tools such as circular saws, multi-cutters, and other equipment, and should have experience with painting work. It is beneficial if you are stress-resistant. We offer good working hours. You will shadow a colleague until you can work independently. You should enjoy working on your own. You will do a trial work/internship for a couple of days first to see if we are a good fit for each other before a six-month probationary employment begins. Permanent employment thereafter. A DRIVER'S LICENSE IS A REQUIREMENT. You must have access to a parking space at your home. You should live around Täby, Vallentuna, Sollentuna, Åkersberga, or nearby areas since we have our warehouse in Täby. References are desirable. You should have your affairs in order.
