About the Company: The company operates within vehicle logistics and is responsible for planning and executing transports. This recruitment is for the Gothenburg team, which collectively manages approximately 135 trucks and ensures that transports are carried out according to customer requirements. About the Role: As a transport manager, you're responsible for planning, monitoring, and optimizing daily vehicle transports. The work involves balancing resources, schedules, and customer requirements—somewhat like solving a large puzzle! Your main responsibilities include: Monitor ongoing transports, ensure that trucks and drivers are in the right place, and handle deviations, from minor disruptions to more complex situations. Plan upcoming routes based on routes, vehicle types, driver schedules, and requirements from loading centers, ports, and receivers. Streamline operations through consolidation and rescheduling, and ensure deliveries meet agreed time windows. Communicate with drivers, internal colleagues, customer service, and transport company management. Document and analyze deviations as part of quality and improvement work. Are You the One We're Looking For? We're seeking a transport manager who is curious, analytical, and solution-oriented. You enjoy planning, creating structure, and handling multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a holistic perspective. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues, drivers, and customer service. Requirements: Passed background check Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written Meritorious (but not required): Interest in cars or the vehicle industry. Practical Information and Application Location: Gothenburg Start: By agreement Salary: Individual salary determination, hourly-based monthly salary. Collective agreement applies. Employment: Consulting assignment for six months with the possibility of extension. Working Hours: Monday–Friday 07:30–16:00. The role includes on-call time in the evenings (17:00–21:00) and holidays (09:00–21:00) according to a rotating schedule, which requires flexibility. More information at the interview.
