About the Job Tempcon Tommy Nordbergh Åkeri AB is now seeking an additional transport planner to join our team! In the role of transport planner, you will be responsible for daily traffic management for one of our major customers. The customer sets the parameters for the transports in the form of locations, times, and other conditions – your mission is to ensure we have the right driver and the right vehicle in the right place, at the right time. A large part of the work revolves around our drivers and vehicles. You will plan staffing and vehicle resources, maintain close and ongoing dialogue with drivers, and monitor traffic throughout the day. When conditions change, you need to quickly prioritize and find solutions that work for the customer, the driver, and the business. As a transport planner with us, you will have a varied job with significant responsibility. You need to be able to stay one step ahead, while also being prepared to handle the rapid changes that are a natural part of the transportation industry. Structure, communication, and problem-solving are therefore important parts of your daily work. The goal is clear: the right driver and the right vehicle in the right place at the right time – every day, year-round. About You We are looking for someone who is a team player, can quickly adapt and step up, who helps colleagues but can also remain calm and be direct and clear in communication when things get intense. We believe you are someone with a good understanding of planning and already grasp the fundamentals of logistics. You may have experience handling food products. You are in a life situation where it suits you to have a flexible job that includes some on-call responsibilities and certain weekend work. You will have daily contact with drivers for directing, planning, and achieving the goals set for the assignment. Required Qualifications Experience from the transport industry Solid experience in traffic management or transport planning High school competence Swedish and English spoken and written. Good computer skills, Office suite. Meritorious CE driver's license and experience from domestic long-haul transport and food handling. Post-secondary education in logistics or traffic management. Experience with TransPA and T5.
