Transport Planner at MTAB LIVE – Södertälje
At MTAB LIVE, we don't just plan transports from A to B.
We work with tours, concerts, events, cultural productions and live projects where timelines are fixed, the pace is high, and conditions sometimes change quickly.
Now we're looking for a transport planner to join our team in Södertälje.
The Role
You will be responsible for planning and coordinating our transports in Sweden and Europe – from single runs to larger tours with multiple stops, drivers and vehicles.
The role is broad and in addition to daily transport planning, you will also have certain responsibility for our vehicle fleet as well as administrative and operational tasks related to our internal operations.
This includes:
planning transports and tours
booking and coordinating vehicles and drivers
maintaining contact with drivers, customers, suppliers and partners
planning schedules, booking ferries and handling customs and border formalities
proactively following up on ongoing assignments and solving changes and problems that arise along the way
keeping track of the vehicle fleet and planning inspections, maintenance and other recurring needs
handling ongoing administration and internal tasks related to transport operations
A large part of the job is about staying one step ahead. At the same time, you need to be able to quickly adapt when plans change.
About You
We're looking for someone with experience in transport planning, traffic management, logistics or similar.
If you've worked in events, tours, trade shows, culture or other live production, that's a major plus. Understanding of the industry and its pace is more important to us than coming from a particular type of transport operation.
You are organized, solution-oriented and confident in making decisions. You enjoy juggling multiple tasks and are good at communicating and building relationships with customers, suppliers and drivers.
Fluent Swedish in speech and writing is required. You also need to be able to communicate and make yourself understood in English, both on the phone and via email.
Flexibility is Part of the Job
The live industry doesn't always follow office hours.
Most planning happens during regular working hours, but you need to be flexible and available when operations require it, even if something happens in the evening or on a weekend.
This doesn't mean you work around the clock – but you need to understand that a tour or production sometimes requires quick decisions outside of 8–17.
Work Location: Södertälje
This position is on-site with us in Södertälje.
You work close to our operations, our drivers and the rest of the team. That's why this is not a hybrid or remote position.
