It is meritorious if you have previous experience working in similar areas, for example acute care or acute care handling. Here's what you'll work with As a trainee with us, you will gain knowledge in the preparation and care of patients before, during, and after surgery. You will also gain knowledge in recovery operations, practice collaboration within the surgical team as well as within the entire unit, which is a prerequisite for the patient to receive the best possible care within our part of the care chain. You will also gain insight and knowledge in inventory and medication handling as well as equipment handling. Part of the trainee period will be at the day surgery where patients are planned, prepared, and cared for before and after surgery. Planning for the trainee position is arranged individually in consultation with the operation. Surgery in Gällivare is part of the county clinic AnOpIva and one of the region's two hospitals with acute surgical operations. We conduct surgical operations with pre-, per-, and post-operative care for outpatient and inpatient patients. We care for patients in surgery, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, and patients in need of other anesthesiological care.
