The Train Business Area is responsible for all train traffic and replacement services within Skånetrafiken through Pågatågen and Öresundstågen. The business area consists of three units: Pågatågen, Öresundståg, and Operations and Vehicles. Our trains are staffed and maintained by subcontractors through procured traffic contracts. Together with our partners, we strive to deliver and develop reliable train traffic and an attractive travel experience for our customers. We are facing an eventful and exciting period in the coming years with the conclusion of the existing contract and the establishment of Pågatågen's new traffic contract. Since our previous traffic developer has moved on within Skånetrafiken, we are now recruiting a new colleague with a focus on traffic development and customer experience. The team includes specialists in traffic development, contract responsibility for replacement services, and infrastructure projects related to our stations. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a traffic developer, you have an important role in driving the development of our business in an innovative and sustainable way from a traffic and customer perspective. You are part of the Pågatågen unit but drive development of operations across the entire business area. Based on the customer's entire journey, you monitor and analyze delivery and prepare well-substantiated decision-making documents with development proposals that create value for both customer and business. Following developments in the industry broadly, being well-versed in business conditions, and understanding which requirements we need to meet and set are part of your responsibilities. As a traffic developer, you continuously focus on how you and your colleagues can develop the customer experience for our passengers, at both operational and tactical levels. You are part of Pågatågen business's collaboration organization together with the service provider and participate in forums for customer contact and traffic. Work in these forums aims to ensure the right level of service and information before, during, and after the customer's journey. Monitoring, analyzing, and financially managing that traffic is carried out according to the contract in an optimal way that creates the most value for customers is also part of your responsibilities. You monitor delivery to customers based on customer surveys and requirements set out in our contracts. You also ensure in-depth analyses and proposals for measures in case of quality deficiencies. The work includes developing, implementing, and monitoring activity plans together with the service provider. A large part of the business area's operations are conducted in various forms of projects. You are expected to lead and participate in internal and external projects with a focus on developing customer experience and traffic. In your work, you strive to increase collaboration both between different departments at Skånetrafiken and within the Pågatågen business as a whole. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with relevant higher education or university education, or other education or experience that we deem relevant for the position. In addition, you have several years of experience in a similar role as project manager, traffic developer, business developer, and/or requirement setter between client and within your own organization as well as with external partners. Furthermore, you have experience leading, driving development, and proposing and implementing development activities that have created value for customers and business. You also have very good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing, and you are an experienced user with very good knowledge of Excel. It is meritorious if you have worked in a politically governed organization and/or within the railway industry or public sector.
