About the Job We at Tempcon Tommy Nordbergh Åkeri AB are looking for an experienced traffic manager. We are seeking a traffic manager who is passionate about the work and has, through their experience, been able to build close and clear relationships with colleagues, team members, and customers. Working as a traffic manager with us means leading and planning daily transports together with other traffic managers, primarily consisting of domestic, temperature-controlled local and long-distance transports. As a traffic manager with us, you are responsible for daily operations. The work involves introducing new drivers, optimizing vehicles, and monitoring driver schedules and working hours. The importance of maintaining good communication with colleagues and drivers, as well as following laws and regulations, is self-evident for us. The work includes some customer contact and follow-up on completed assignments. The position includes scheduled on-call duty or on-call shifts. About You We are looking for someone who is responsible and has leadership experience in the industry, as you need to have a good understanding of the customer's operations and the driver's working situation. You are flexible, stress-resistant, and have a holistic approach; therefore, you also have experience maintaining a high level of service at a fast pace. You have leadership qualities, problem-solving abilities, social competence, and find it easy to collaborate with others. Required Qualifications Experience from the Haulage Industry Extensive experience in traffic management or transport planning High school diploma/gymnasium level education Swedish and English, spoken and written Good computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite Merits CE driving license and experience from domestic long-distance transports and food handling Post-secondary education in logistics or traffic management Experience with TransPA and T5 High IT competence Multilingual About Us Tempcon Tommy Nordberg Åkeri AB is part of the Tempcon Group and we carry out various types of logistics assignments; our core business is temperature-controlled food transports.
