About the Role As a traffic manager, you work in a team that handles time-critical and prioritized transports within international flows. The focus is on road transport within Europe, where you are responsible for planning, monitoring, and coordinating to ensure that deliveries occur according to set timelines and quality requirements. The role involves significant personal responsibility and requires you to be organized, communicative, and solution-oriented. You work closely with both internal functions and external parties and have an important role in quickly handling deviations when circumstances change. You will be part of a cohesive team with high engagement where collaboration, responsibility, and development are central aspects of daily work. Your duties include, among others: - Daily cargo planning - Planning of tractors and coordinating intermodal transports - Close communication with drivers, carriers, and customers via email and phone - Monitoring of deliveries according to internal procedures - Registration and reporting of transports in Excel and customer-specific systems - Ensuring that deliveries occur according to planned time slots - Participation in weekly team meetings and KPI reviews This is an assignment that requires significant responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to make independent decisions under pressure. This position is a consulting assignment where you will be employed by Emploid and hired out as a consultant to our customer with good opportunities to be directly recruited afterwards. About You To succeed in the role, you are self-driven, proactive, and have an easy time understanding new flows and working methods. You have a good understanding of what punctuality and quality mean in the transport chain and are confident in prioritizing when multiple things happen simultaneously. You thrive in a role where you combine analysis with extensive communication and where collaboration is crucial for results. At the same time, you are not afraid to take responsibility and drive your work forward independently.
