Traffic Dispatcher As a traffic dispatcher, you are responsible for ensuring that our transports are carried out efficiently, safely, and with high quality. You play a central role in directing and optimizing traffic in real time and provide important support to our drivers in their daily work. Starting in December 2026, we will launch paratransit operations in Skellefteå and expand our taxi services. We are looking for someone who has the ability to see connections, works efficiently in different systems, and is communicative. Your responsibilities As a traffic dispatcher at Boreal Sverige, your main task will be to actively direct and allocate assignments in the traffic management system, in accordance with applicable traffic plans, laws/regulations, and vehicle allocation. You will serve as the communication hub internally and towards clients/customers. Responsibilities within your area: Handle deviations such as vehicle problems, weather impacts, and other disruptions Provide ongoing support and guidance to drivers Optimize traffic through, for example, ride-sharing and efficient resource planning Handle acute staffing needs and sudden absences Investigate incidents related to deviations Stay updated on laws and regulations concerning traffic and traffic management Make operational decisions within traffic management Prioritize resources to ensure safe and efficient traffic operations Cooperate with planning, traffic management, and other departments to achieve operational goals Your background/Your qualities For this role, you must have excellent system proficiency and work efficiently in different digital tools Since the work involves handling rapid changes and challenges related to planning personnel resources and vehicles, it is important that you are calm and methodical. Furthermore, we see that you have good analytical ability, which allows you to make sound decisions in the moment but also in the longer term. You are collaboration-oriented and enjoy working closely with other functions to contribute to the whole. It is important that you take ownership and that you can work independently For this position, you must express yourself fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Additional language skills are advantageous.
