Starting in December 2025, Skånetrafiken has taken on the responsibility of ordering, coordinating, informing, and following up on replacement traffic services. In December 2026, we enter a new phase. For this, we need to hire more colleagues who want to make a difference for those traveling by public transport in Skåne. We are seeking full-time Traffic Information Specialists for Skånetrafiken's Replacement Traffic unit within the Operational Coordination area, currently based in Malmö. 4 position(s). DUTIES The Replacement Traffic unit is tasked with ordering replacement traffic during train disruptions, monitoring ongoing replacement traffic, and planning for future replacement traffic. We inform and guide our passengers and follow up on the delivery of both emergency and planned replacement traffic together with transport operators. Through this, we want to develop and improve the experience for passengers during train traffic disruptions. Skånetrafiken's Operational Coordination activity also has the task of monitoring all traffic for Skånetrafiken in real time, which includes neighboring counties and Denmark. We are responsible for producing and publishing traffic information, both acute and planned deviations, via Skånetrafiken's digital channels including app, website, and stop displays. We handle external contacts with transport operators, regional traffic companies, press, and collaborate with Trafikverket in the area of disruption information. The assignment also includes reporting deviations internally to colleagues to continuously improve our service and passengers' experience. We work closely with Skånetrafiken's operations team during business-critical incidents and other government-initiated events. We communicate all deviation and disruption information to those who interact with customers via chat, social media, and other customer channels, and we manage Skånetrafiken's press duty outside office hours. Our working hours extend around the clock, every day of the year. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with completed and approved secondary education. You express yourself fluently in Swedish and have good English skills, both spoken and written. It is an advantage if you have experience with replacement traffic, both planned and emergency, as well as experience in traffic management, incident handling, public transportation, or similar operational traffic activities. We also view positively on experience working in time-critical operations with large information flows where information needs to be analyzed, processed, and adapted for different target audiences, as well as operational work, preferably in public sector operations. You have good multitasking abilities and thrive in an environment where you need to handle, interpret, and prioritize large amounts of information from several systems and applications simultaneously. You have the ability to quickly transform complex information into clear, accurate, and helpful traffic information for passengers. The role places high demands on stress tolerance, especially during acute incidents that affect traffic and our passengers. You are accustomed to working in an operation where pace can vary from calm periods to intense situations with high demands for quick delivery and clear communication. As a person, you collaborate well with others while having the ability to work independently and make decisions that can affect many people. You are flexible and view development and changed working methods positively to meet the needs of the operation and our stakeholders. Since the operation runs around the clock, you need to be able to work shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. We use continuous selection.
