We are now seeking an additional service designer to join the team developing digital solutions while building up KTH's user-centered approach. About the Department/Unit In Operations Support, we continuously develop work methods, processes, and digital tools to create the best possible conditions for the university's education and research. With us, you will have the opportunity to contribute to this development while growing professionally. The Team As a service designer, you will be part of a team, a so-called portfolio office. There you will collaborate with various roles such as requirements analysts, solution architects, and business specialists to build understanding of operations, manage needs, and design solutions. Responsibilities In your role as a service designer, you will work continuously closely with users and clients from the business, as well as with developers and vendors to ensure that the design is implemented in the solution. Your goal is to contribute to the development of services, work methods, and digital solutions that create long-term value for the organization. You will thus have significant influence on KTH's digital future. As a service designer, you are responsible for: - Setting direction for and leading design work in the assignment. - Understanding needs and context through analyses, process mapping, interviews, testing, leading workshops, etc. - Analyzing and prioritizing benefits together with the business. - Translating needs into solutions together with the architect and business. - Validating and quality-assuring solutions. - Following up on impact and goal fulfillment. - Contributing to method and competence development in design at KTH. Qualifications Requirements - Academic education or other education and/or experience that the employer deems equivalent. - At least five years of combined experience in service design, UX design, or similar user-centered work from research to design. - Strong ability to express yourself in speech and writing in both Swedish and English as required in daily work. Meritorious - Experience working as a designer in an agile cross-functional development team. - Work experience planning and leading projects/assignments. - Experience working with web accessibility, compliance, and evaluation of WCAG 2 or later versions. - Work experience from a public authority. - At least a bachelor's degree from a university or college.
