We are now seeking a Service Manager IT Security Platforms who wants to take full responsibility for our security platforms and contribute to developing a secure and sustainable IT environment. You will be part of the Swedish Maritime Administration's IT department, which currently consists of approximately 100 employees. The position is placed in the IT Infrastructure and Support Unit, within the Network and Server Section, where we are responsible for the technical infrastructure and platforms that form the foundation of the agency's IT environment. We work closely with the business and each other with short decision-making paths and an agile approach. Responsibilities As Service Manager IT Security Platforms, you are responsible for management, development, and lifecycle management of the agency's security platforms. You ensure that services are developed in line with operational needs, changing external requirements, and technological developments. The role involves overall responsibility for coordinating and developing the service area. You function as the hub between the operations organization, IT and information security functions, the business, and our external suppliers. Through close collaboration with these parties, you ensure that security platforms meet the business's requirements for functionality, availability, security, and quality. You have strategic and tactical responsibility for the services while operational management is performed by our technical specialists and external suppliers. In the role, you will, among other things: be responsible for management and further development of the agency's IT security platforms develop service plans, roadmaps, and long-term development plans translate business needs and requirements in IT and information security into concrete development initiatives lead and coordinate development and change initiatives within the service area lead or participate in projects related to security platforms be responsible for requirement specification for procurements, changes, and further development be responsible for supplier management, supplier follow-up, and contract-related matters follow up on deliveries, service levels, quality, economics, and risks coordinate work between the operations organization, IT and information security functions, and external suppliers prepare decision-making documents and present matters in steering committees and other decision-making forums monitor developments in the field and initiate improvements that strengthen the agency's IT and information security Who are you? We are looking for someone who has: academic education in IT or other education and experience that the employer considers equivalent current several years of experience with service management, service administration, technical product ownership, or equivalent current experience working with IT security platforms in larger and complex IT environments current experience working with IT infrastructure, such as server platforms, networks, or identity management experience leading projects, assignments, or major change initiatives experience with supplier management, supplier follow-up, and contract-related work experience with requirement specification and coordination between business, IT, and external suppliers experience working with steering committees and preparing decision-making documents experience with agile working methods experience working according to security classification legislation (PMFS 2022:1) and good understanding of the requirements placed on security-sensitive operations good understanding of IT and information security good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written It is meritorious if you have: experience working at a state agency or other public operation experience working with the Cybersecurity Act, ISO 27001, or other relevant regulations experience working with procurement according to LOU certification in project management or IT and information security We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities. You are experienced in leading projects and change work and feel comfortable coordinating different competencies toward common goals.
