About the Position Personal assistance is a service under LSS (Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities). As a personal assistant, you will primarily help the client with everything that arises in daily life and with basic needs. Your work involves respecting the client's self-determination and integrity, and contributes to a smoothly functioning everyday life. Each assistance arrangement is uniquely tailored to the client's life, so work tasks may vary depending on the workplace. The client's individual needs guide the workday, and your work may include, for example, assistance with mobility, personal care, exercise and communication, as well as household tasks and activities inside and outside the home. Who Are You? The role of personal assistant requires strong skills in building good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as an assistant and the client. Work Hours, Employment Level, and Salary The current employment form is "hourly employment," which means work as needed with varying hours during day and evening. Work hours are 08:00-16:00 and 16:00-22:30. Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement. Start date immediately or by agreement.
