Temporary Treatment Assistants at HVB

HVB is a residential solution for young people between 13-21 years old. We serve youth whose home environment, social challenges, or conflicts make daily life at home unmanageable. In Mariestad Municipality, we operate a centrally located HVB home called Ungbo. For the fall, we are looking for a few trustworthy temporary staff members who are self-assured and able to set boundaries. Are you passionate about making daily life easier for young people? Then this job might be for you! 2 position(s). WORK TASKS At Ungbo, we have four places plus one place available in our supported housing. Together with the client, the young person, and their guardians, we develop an individualized treatment plan. We work to find flexible solutions around the young people's complex challenges and to involve them in shaping the goals for their time at the home. We also map protective and risk factors for the young person and identify their network. In your role as a treatment assistant, you will work with ADL training based on the young person's abilities. You will also collaborate with school, healthcare, dental care, youth clinic, police, and psychiatry, among others. The focus is on providing our young people with a secure base with a clear daily structure and safe relationships with stable adults, and you have a key role for each individual. Follow-up with associated documentation is also part of your responsibilities. Working hours include days, evenings, weekends, and on-call nights. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with post-secondary education such as social pedagogue/treatment pedagogue, social psychologist, social worker, or equivalent qualification. You should also have relevant work experience working with children and young people and a strong interest in social work. As a person, you should be confident in your professional role and have a strong ability to convey trust and stability. We also see that you are communicative and collaboration-oriented. You must have good command of Swedish, both spoken and written, as communication and documentation are important parts of the work. It is a merit if you have experience with and knowledge of low-arousal approaches and if you have experience from previous treatment and investigation work with this target group. A B driver's license is required for the position, and you must be able to work days, evenings, weekends, and on-call nights. When you apply, we want a CV showing your previous qualifications.
