Amplius Omsorg is a care chain primarily focused on qualified assessment and treatment for children with or without parents, and women with or without children. We are now seeking temporary care workers for our children's HVB (residential care home), Solbacken. We need extra staff for both day and night shifts, so there are opportunities to choose what works best for you! About Solbacken Solbacken is a residential care home for children aged 10-14 years with psychosocial and/or neuropsychiatric issues, children with complex behavioral problems, and children with externalizing behaviors. At Solbacken, we place the child at the center of our work. We conduct quality treatment that is planned and evaluated together with our facility's psychologist and child psychiatrist. Treatment is tailored to each child's individual needs and abilities. Solbacken operates in a family-oriented and home-like environment where children's needs and participation are in focus. The facility maintains high staffing levels to ensure safety and security. We actively work with functional analysis and risk assessments. The facility also has access to Amplius's specialist team consisting of a psychologist, psychotherapist, nurse, and physician. About the Role As a temporary care worker, you will meet children based on their specific situation. The work involves supporting, helping, and providing security to children in a residential care home (HVB). We work according to the social services mandate using the BBIC framework with each child placed in our care. You will participate in the children's leisure activities, prepare meals, and maintain daily routines. An important part of the work involves using structure and clarity to create security and predictability for our children. The ability to meet a child's emotions with a low-affect approach is a fundamental quality for working with us. You must be able to meet the children's and guardians' challenges in a professional and respectful manner. You should be able to reflect on yourself and your own interactions and be able to adjust your approach based on the desired effect on the child's behavior. We work using environmental therapy with a low-affect approach, meeting children with security and care. Night shift work involves creating a safe, secure, and caring environment for the children and contributing to maintaining security according to established procedures. It also includes general maintenance of common areas and preparation of tasks for day staff. Documentation and behavioral observations are part of the position. Since safety is paramount for us, we maintain high staffing levels during the day and two awake staff members at night, plus additional staff on night on-call duty. We need temporary workers who can work day shifts, evenings, weekends, and sleeping on-call or awake night shifts. We also welcome those with at least two years of experience working in HVB care. Previous experience working with this target group is a merit. As a member of our team, you need to be secure, stable, and unpretentious. These qualities are essential in situations that arise when meeting children and their networks, as well as when collaborating with colleagues and partners. You should have strong abilities in reflecting on various situations that arise and can suggest new approaches, for example regarding the child's challenges and behavior. Experience with clarifying pedagogy, solution-focused work methods, and low-affect approaches is a merit. You distinguish between the personal and professional, are flexible, and adapt easily to changing circumstances. You have the ability to build good collaborative relationships. You listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts constructively. We place great importance on personal suitability. Your knowledge of Swedish and English is good.
