The focus and primary task of the Technical Department is to develop and manage the municipality's facility assets and conduct service operations. The department includes the units for property, streets and parks, catering, facility maintenance, and services. Together, everyone works to fulfill the municipality's vision and overarching goals as well as the 2030 Agenda. Facility maintenance performs daily cleaning and deep cleaning/window washing/floor care as needed for facilities used primarily by the municipality's own operations, both within and outside Åtvidaberg town center. Your Work Tasks As a facility cleaner with us, you will perform cleaning of facilities for municipal operations and external tenants such as offices, staff areas, stairwells, corridors, schools, and preschools. This includes handling cleaning carts and materials, machine operation, floor care, and deep cleaning. What We're Looking For We are seeking someone who excels at collaborating with others by listening, showing empathy, and respect. You share your knowledge, create team spirit in the group, and encourage others' contributions. You have a strong ability to follow instructions and can stick to established schedules. To communicate and collaborate with your colleagues and receive both written and verbal instructions, you need to understand and be understood in Swedish. It is a merit if you have previous work experience in facility maintenance, but it is not required as you will receive the introduction you need to perform the work. It is also a merit if you have a B-class driver's license and access to your own car. About the Recruitment Process We warmly welcome your application no later than August 30.
