Duveholmsgruppen is recruiting temporary staff for residential care facilities in Katrineholm.
Duveholmsgruppen is committed to providing high-quality residential care with appropriate interventions based on proven experience and evidence-based methods.
We offer a homelike and secure environment for children and young people ages 13–17 with psychosocial and neuropsychiatric challenges. These young people are in particularly vulnerable situations, often with broken relationships, diagnoses, and trauma.
They therefore have special needs for high staff-to-resident ratios, predictability, and security. These principles guide the support we provide to young people at our facility. The service is supported by psychologists, psychiatrists, doctors, social workers, nurses, and other specialists.
Your Assignment
We are looking for temporary staff who can work as needed at Duveholmsgruppen residential care facility.
As temporary staff, you work as needed, which means you may be offered work shifts on short notice ranging from a few hours to longer-term assignments. You will help cover both planned and unplanned absences as well as temporary increased staffing needs.
Working hours include day shifts, evening shifts, and overnight shifts.
Job Duties
Duties are varied and consist largely of work in daily operations. This includes cooking, cleaning, transportation, motivational conversations, and ongoing documentation in records. You need good Swedish language skills, both written and verbal. Documentation in the position is a requirement. An important part of the work is to encourage and motivate young people to develop their abilities and to create conditions for an active and meaningful leisure time.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has completed or is pursuing appropriate education such as social worker, behavioral scientist, social pedagogue, treatment assistant, or equivalent vocational education.
We appreciate experience with similar work tasks or working with children and young people in similar settings. You are driven by strong commitment to this target group and have a genuine interest in making a difference in the young people's daily lives.
To thrive in this role, you need to work independently, take your own initiative, and collaborate with colleagues. You are a reliable and stable person with a good ability to understand others' perspectives and situations while maintaining a professional approach.
Within the organization, we use low-affect practices and expect you to treat our young people with care, security, and respect. The work demands high standards of conduct, a pedagogical approach, and the ability to work in a structured manner.
We place great importance on your personal qualities.
A valid driver's license is required.
Other Information
Since interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, we encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible. During the recruitment process, we will request a clearance certificate from the police register of suspicion and sanctions. We therefore recommend that you obtain a clearance certificate early via https://polisen.se/tjanster-tillstand/belastningsregistret/hvb-hem/ as it is a requirement for working in this facility and must be presented at any interview.
