Hummelstaskolan is a preschool-grade 6 school with approximately 270 students located just outside Enköping. Short commute distance from Enköping and Västerås to the school. The workplace consists of approximately 30 employees.

WORK TASKS
Do you enjoy working with children and young people? Do you want to help create a safe, fun and educational environment for students both during the school day and at leisure time? Then this could be the assignment for you!
We are looking for you who want to work as a substitute teacher in school and leisure time. You have interest and commitment in working with children. You are flexible and can quickly get up to speed in new situations. It is important that you are confident and have a positive attitude. You preferably have experience of working in school or leisure time (but it is not a requirement).
During the school day you work as a teacher in preschool class and grades 1-6 in place of regular staff absences, and when classroom reinforcement is needed. After school hours, the work at the after-school center begins.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who have a high school diploma and can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
You have a good understanding of how people acquire knowledge and the different conditions of people. You adapt the way you convey your message to the recipient.
You are relationship-building, outgoing and socially active in your work. You create contacts and maintain relationships.
You easily adapt to changed circumstances. You see opportunities in changes and can quickly change your perspective and approach based on what the situation requires.
We would like to see that you have competence and interest in teaching sports, handicrafts, music and art.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 11 days - 3 months, start date: 2026-08-10. By agreement.
