About the workplace Ersta Diakoni home care services provide support and care to people who need help to continue living at home. We operate in Stockholm, Gävle, and Sundsvall. With us, you'll meet people with different needs and have independent and varied work. You work in our customers' homes, but are also part of a work team where we collaborate and support each other. We are now looking for temporary care workers for our home care services in Kungsholmen. The operation is divided into three geographic areas: Norrmalm, Kungsholmen, and Fredhäll, which also includes the Essinge Islands. About the role As a temporary care worker with us, you work when the operation needs reinforcement, for example when regular staff are absent. You help our customers with what they need support with based on their individual support decisions. This can include: providing support with personal care assisting with shopping, meal preparation, and cleaning accompanying customers on walks, doctor's visits, or other activities contributing to social connection and a safe daily life. The work is independent and varied. As a temporary care worker, you need to be able to enter different situations, meet people with different needs, and adjust your support based on the person you're working with. At the same time, you're part of the work team and have colleagues and a supervisor you can turn to when you need support. Who are you? To thrive as a temporary care worker with us, we believe you enjoy meeting people and feel comfortable working independently. You are attentive, take responsibility for your tasks, and treat our customers with respect. You also need to be comfortable collaborating with different colleagues, since both work days and needs can vary. Your experience To work with us, you need to: be at least 18 years old be able to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written be able to cycle. It is advantageous if you have: experience working in home care or other elder care ongoing education in health and care a B-category driving license.
