Day Activity Services in Sundbyberg is seeking new temporary staff and a substitute for a short-term position. In Sundbyberg, day activity services are offered to adults with neuropsychiatric or psychiatric disabilities according to LSS or SoL. The services currently consist of eight units with different focuses. The content of the services is designed based on participants' wishes, strengths, and abilities. We strive to support participants in their own development based on their own circumstances. In the services, you will work providing support to participants in activities and various tasks. The services have somewhat different focuses, but all services focus on health and well-being where we, for example, exercise and walk together with our participants. You are expected to work based on a salutogenic approach where the participants' strengths and abilities serve as an inspiration source in your work. We work with clear structure and continuity. We place great emphasis on respectful interaction and clear communication, where participants are given the opportunity to be involved according to their own abilities. It is desirable that you have relevant upper secondary education in the field of disability or other education that the employer deems equivalent. You have documented experience working with this target group and experience from Day Activity Services. You are familiar with visual supports, creating social stories, and work with alternative communication (AAC, TAKK) as well as low-arousal approaches. You have personal maturity, are stress-resilient, organized, and have the ability to create safety and stability. You are attentive and skilled at adapting your approach based on participants' needs. You are an outgoing "team player" with the ability to build and maintain relationships. You have strong ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in Swedish. You have basic IT skills, can use the computer as a tool, and are quick to learn new systems. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and suitability. Working hours are daytime, Monday-Friday, based on the services' needs. Apply no later than August 31, 2026 Start date by agreement. We do not accept applications via email or mail.
