Job Responsibilities
Avenboken Treatment Home and Avenboken ReBo are residential care facilities for adults with substance abuse and addiction issues. Our target groups are women and men with harmful use or dependency on drugs, alcohol, and medications. At Avenboken, we serve clients aged 20 and above. At Avenboken ReBo, we serve individuals between 40 and 70 years old.
We are now seeking temporary staff who want engaging work with many opportunities for development in a stimulating environment.
Working hours include day shifts, evenings, weekends, and night shifts. Tasks focus on both practical responsibilities and primarily providing support to individuals undergoing treatment here. To be eligible for this position, you must be able to work evenings and weekends.
We work with individually tailored care schedules and treatment plans based on each person's needs, which requires you as an employee to be flexible and adaptable to different situations.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with an ongoing (completed at least three semesters) or completed higher education in social work and previous experience in social work.
Experience in institutional work, psychiatric care, and work with individuals struggling with substance abuse and addiction is desirable. A valid driver's license (category B) and knowledge of languages other than Swedish and English are also advantageous.
As a person, you are proactive, creative, and have a positive view of people. You are self-directed and can independently plan your work schedule. You reflect on your work and demonstrate high flexibility, including the ability to show symptom tolerance for disruptive behavior. The position further requires strong collaboration skills both within the workplace and with external partners, and you are skilled at building relationships.
