Your Assignment As a kitchen assistant, you contribute to ensuring that meal operations run in a safe, hygienic, and service-oriented manner. Together with your colleagues in the kitchen, you work with routine tasks in a preschool or school kitchen. Your responsibilities include meal preparation and serving, dishwashing, cleaning, food handling according to applicable procedures, and receiving deliveries. You work according to the facility's routines and instructions and contribute together with colleagues to a well-functioning and pleasant meal experience for children, students, and staff. As a temporary employee, you need to be able to step in with short notice and have the ability to work partial days, full days, or longer periods. Your Experience For this position, we require that you have: - Good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. It is advantageous if you also have: - Experience working in commercial kitchens, restaurants, school or preschool kitchens - Experience working in schools, preschools, or other public sector activities - Knowledge of food hygiene and self-monitoring - Training in restaurant, institutional catering, or another relevant field Are You the Right Fit? You have good collaboration skills, a responsible approach, and contribute to good treatment in interactions with both colleagues, children, and students. You take initiative, see what needs to be done, and contribute with solutions when challenges arise in daily work. The role requires that you are flexible and comfortable in an environment where tasks can vary.
